Minutes of a Regular Meeting of Councij of the Township of Medonte held on Tuesday, Novembe
24, 1987 in Council Chambers, Moonstone.

{\s Reeve ArllilS had called to say he would be late, Deputy-Reeve Beard assumed the Chair
for the first half hour of the rneeting.

" That the minutes of a Regular Meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held on
November 10, and the minutes of a Special Meeting of Council held on November 18, be
adopted as printed and circulated".

Council authorized the punchase of the 6 Cylinder Truck from Currie.

out onto the Mt. Road. Council directed the Roads Superintendent advise him that Council
owns a 1 foot strip of land which will prohibit his entrance.
Cillllli:iLilitertE'd the Road's Superintendent advise Brian Jennett he has until December 15
to remove the old building beside the Fire Hall.

Mr. H. C:orl1clis.s..e approached Council to have his land removed from the agricultural designatio
in Official Plan Amendment If 7.

Re:,?olution .JiQ~::JJlt was passed as follows:
" That Council directs that Schedule "An of "Amendment II 7" of the Official Plan be
amended to take the land of Mr. H. Cornelisse, Pt. Lot 23, Con. 13 out of the Agriculture
Designation".
. BeatriC~JlQ.dr.oJ3l.,..Township Treasurer, presented Council with a Financial Statement as of
November 24, 1987. There was a discussion regarding the Fire Department and starting a
funded reserve for the Waste Site.
J.io:LOak~__EIL~J:;~.bi~J and Jim Eakley, Deputy Fire Chief presented Council with a written
quotation to enlarge the Fire Halls in Hillsdale and War minster. Because of the time of year
Council directed this be deferred until Spring. There was also a discussion on purchasing
used fire equipment.
