Minutes of a Regular Meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held on Tuesday,
April 26, 1988 at 7:00 P.M. in Council Chambers, Moonstone.

" That the minutes of a regular meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held
on Tuesday, April 12, 1988 be adopted as circulated".
.Counci! meC with G. Ball, Township Road's Superintendent. Council directed tenders to
be called for surface treatment, calcium and winter sand.

-CQ1!JlciLSl~LQ.Y.e.d of the Superintendent preparing an entrance application to be
attached to building permit applications. Council approved of adopting a set of servicing
standards for the Township.

" That Council accepts the quotation of superior Propane in the amount of $5,100.00
for the supply and installation of three propane fired tube heaters for the Township
Work's garage".
.Resolution 88-8.~L, was passed as follows:
" That Council accepts the quotation of Melody Enterprises in the amount of $24,694-.34
for the insulating and steel cladding of the Township Work's Garage".
1) Mari!Y!l,~.i.(;dst::n approached Council with regard to the clean up of old cars on the
property she is renting. Council advised her that she had until June 1 st to remove
the ones that were not in running order or action would be taken.

._ColJnc:iI meL._with the Council of the Village of Coldwater to discuss that they would
require a greater contribution for continued use of the Waste Site. Council suggested
that both Municipalities should be paying the same costs per capita towards the operation.
The Village stated they would be willing to pay their share but would like a long-term
agreement. Council advised the Village that they would prepare an agreement and meet
at a later date.

.~th members of the Warmin&ter Optimist Club who presented a proposal
for a playground at the Warminster Park.
~Bj". was passed as follows:
" That Council approves of a grant in the amount of $8,54-9.00 to the Warminster
Optimist Club to be used towards Playground Equipment at the Warminster Park
And that this grant shall be paid out of the Park Fund Account".
1) R es.olu:tiarL...8.&::.&6 was passed as follows:
" That Council approves of Mr. James Wiggins building a new house on his property
using material from the old house on his property with the understanding that the
old house will be removed within a period of two months upon completion of
construction.

2) Resolution 88-87 was defeated as follows by recorded vote:
" That Council approves of Mr. Jim Kitchen purchasing water from the War minster
Water System at a fee of $5.00 per thousand gallons".

3) Council reviewed a survey of lot levies presented by the Clerk. They directed the
Township By-Law be amended setting the Township Lot Levy at $1,000.00".

" That this meeting be adjourned to meet agalll on Tuesday, May 10, 1988 at 7:00 P.M."
