09 27 1988 Public Minutes THE CORPORA nON Of THE TOWNSHIP Of MEDONTE Minutes of a Special Public Meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held on Tuesday, September 27, 1988 in Council Chambers, Moonstone, as requested under Section 17 (2) of the Planning Act. The ~ consider an Official Plan Amendment by Mr. & Mrs. D. Fenwick, Pt. Lot 15, Con. 13, to change the designation of a portion of their land from Agricultural Distr ict to Rural Residential District. ~ Present Deputy Reeve - I. Beard Councillors - H. Vasey - J. Clarke - R. Beleskey Also present - A. McNair, Township Planner - R. Raymond, Planning Consultant - H. Spacek, Planning Consultant - Mr. & Mrs. Fenwick - Mr. & Mrs. Morano - Mr. A. Bell þ Deputy-Reeve Beard called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. . Tbe Clerk advised those in attendance that notice had been given in accordance with the regulations and that a notice was placed in the Orillia Packet and Times on August 27, 1988. In addition, a written notice was sent to the land owners in the area on August 23, 1988. He also advised Council that a copy of the Amendment was forwarded to the School Boards, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Ministry of Natural Resources, Ministry of Municipal Affairs, Ministry of Environment, Simcoe County Health Unit, Ministry of Transportation. The Clerk advised the Separate School Board had replied they had no comment and the Ministry of Environment had advised they would not comment. The Clerk advised that none of the people given notification had objected to the proposed amendment. ,~r. R. Ra}lrnood ~nd Mrs. Spacek presented the proposed amendment. Deputy-Reeve Beard asked those in attendance if they had any questions or comments, There were none. Mr. McNair, Township Planner, advised Council of certain the amendment with regard to justification of the change from Agricultural to Residential. He also noted that there was no hydrological report regarding the impact on wells and septic systems in the area.
