" That the minutes of a Regular Meeting of Council held on May 23, and the
minutes of Special Meetings held on May 17, May 23 and June 1 be adopted
as printed and circulated".

G. Ball, Township Road's Superintendent. They opened two
tenders for and pumps. The tenders were from N. Doolittle and Bill
Keddy Pump Maintenance and no decision was made until the Superintendent reviewed
them.
COllnciLthf:rLdea1:t with grader tenders which had been received on June 1, 1989. The
Road's Superintendent reported they had tested both of the graders and he recommended
Council accept the tender of Truck and Tractor Equipment Ltd. Both the salesman
for John Deere and Champion addressed Council on the virtues of their respective machines.
Resolution 89-113 was passed by recorded vote as follows:
" That the tender of Truck and Tractor Ltd. in the amount of $120,638.16 for the
supply and delivery of a grader be accepted".

Superintendent at a price of $995.00 plus tax".

the Ministry of Transportation to the next council meeting to discuss bridges.

proposal for a plan of Subdivision, pt. lot 68, con. 1. He proposed a 34 lot,
2 acre lots to be serviced by individual wells. Council advised Mr. Jones they
would consider his proposal and get back to him.

and the performance of the Committee of Adjustment.

" That Council of the Township of Medonte endorses a resolution of the City of
Guelph regarding recycling of telephone books".

" That Council approves of the plans of Mr. A. Douglas Bidmead to amend the site
plan of his licenced gravel pit, pt. lot 21, con. 10, to allow excavation to within
60 feet of the center line of the Township road allowance".
Rf>solution 89-1 ULwas passed as follows:
" That the Township Treasurer be authorized to transfer $26,881,42 from the Park
Fund reserve to cover the costs of the Edward's land purchase".

Council then directed the Clerk advise the Huronia Museum they would not pay in
order to have the mapping prepared.
Cot mri I dirf>cted the Clerk advise W. D. Kirby & Associates that Council would not
extend the Draft Plan, part lot 1, con. 7, file 43T -76030 for another year.

" That General Voucher 1/ 6 in the amount of $111,009.54 is hereby approved for
payment".
Resolution 89-120 WCJS passed as follows:
" That Road's Voucher II 5 in the amount of $76,935.06 IS hereby approved for
payment".

would reply to the Clerk who would compile the information for presentation to
Council for July 11, 1989.
