Minutes of a Regular Meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held on Monday,
October 23, 1989 at 1:00 P.M. in Council Chambers, Moonstone.

Resolution 89-198 was passed as follows:
" That the minutes of a Regular Meeting of Council held on October 10, 1989 and the
minutes of a Special Meeting of Council held on October 17, 1989 be adopted as
printed and circulated".

1 ) Mr. Roy Fulcher, owner of Lot 3, Plan M-112, MI'. ST. Louis Estates approached Council
with a request to sever a piece from his lot to create another lot fronting onto
the 4th Concession. The Clerk advised Council that the lands would require an
Official Plan Amendment, a Rezoning and Council would have to leave their one foot
reserve in order to create the lot. Council deferred decision until after viewing
the property.
1) The Clerk presented a revised Plan of Subdivision Plan for Robinwood Estates. Council
reviewed the proposal and deferred decision until they reviewed corrments from their
P larmers.
2) Council acknowledged receipt of the transfer of two small pieces of land, being
Parts 1 & 3 on Plan P-3346-151, PT Lot 49 Con 1, from the Province of Ontario.
3) Council reviewed correspondence from the City of Orillia regarding the French
Language Services Act (Bill 8).

" That Council of the Township of Medonte endoreses a resolution of the City of
Orillia regarding the French Language Services Act".

4) Council deferred decision on making an Appointment to the Huronia District Hospital
Board for the years 1990-1993.
5) Council reviewed an Agreement for the operation, management and maintenance of the
Coldwater & District Corrmunity Centre.

" That the Reeve and Clerk be authorized to execute a joint agreement to provide for
the operation, management and maintenance of the Coldwater and District Community
Centre" .

" That Mr. G. Ball and Reeve Amos be authorized to attend the Ontario Good Roads
Association 1990 Annual Conference to be held February 25 to 28".

1) Council met with Mr. Richardson of Reinders & Associates and reviewed a revised plan
of subdivision for the Newton Subdivision, Hillsdale. Council approved of the revised
road pattern and their was a discussion on drainage. Council asked their Engineer
to corrment on the drainage as well as a storm drainage system.

2) Council reviewed a preliminary Plan for Development on the Brown property, PT Lot
Con 9.. They directed the clerk advise the Planners to redraw the pro];XJsal to show
all two acre lots as well as a looped road system.
3) Council reviewed a preliminary Plan for development on the Mieling property,
PT Lot 15, Con 10 and directed the Clerk advise the Planners to attend a meeting
for further discussion.

1) Council reviewed and approved of a reply to the Province of Ontario and the County
of Simcoe regarding the pro];XJsed restructuring of Simcoe County.
2) Council reviewed a re];XJrt from their Engineer regarding the Hydrology re];XJrt on the
pro];XJsed Rynard Subdivision. They directed the Clerk forward a copy of the re];XJrt
to the developer and his consultant for their reply.
3) The Clerk presented a request for a house numbering system in the Police Village of
Hillsdale. Although they agreed to the prepartion of a By-Law they were not in
favour of purchasing the numbers.
4) Council decided to meet with their Engineers and concerned ratepayers on site at the
Vespra Construction Subdivision, Hillsdale, October 30, 1989 at 9:30 A.M. to look
at drainage problems.
