Minutes of a Regular Meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held on Tuesday, January
10, 1989 at 1 :00 P.M. in Council Chambers, Moonstone.

December 20, 1988 be adopted as printed and circulated".
Mr. G. BaU, Road's Superintendent and Lytle Johnstone, Night man to discuss
snow removal over the Christmas Holidays.

. Mrs. List 2:PJ2I9-,!fb~ Council to request her portion of the 8th Concession be ploughed earlier.
There was a discussion on plough routes and Council decided to have a special meeting on
January 16, 1989 at 9:00 A.M. to discuss roads matters.
.The Road'::; SuperintendeD.:!: reported that the new sand truck had motor problems and had been
sent out for repairs.

Mr. D. Gordon approached Council with regards to the zoning of his neighbour's property,
pt. W-Y2 lot 5, con. 13. Mr. Gordon expressed his opinion that the use of the property was
in contravention to the Rural Zoning. Mr. Gordon also felt that the operation next-door
de-valued his property.
Council advised Mr. Gordon they would look into his concerns.

Mr. Hisey & MrJ:L BarrinE;ton approached Council regarding the possibility of a Condominium
project on their property across from the Mt. St. Louis Ski Resort. Council suggested they
do some market research and report back to Council.

living in a trailer in a rural area and that the court date was March 6, 1989.
Clerk attend a meeting to be held on Matchedash with regard to
Natural Resources fire protection.

presented and Council agreed with the proposed signs.

presented three items for discussion
1) He requested that a Vacation Schedule for all employees be prepared for Council by
March 31 of each year. Council agreed with his request.
2) He requested that Council set a policy with regard to signs and Billboards within the
Township. Council agreed to discuss the matter with their Planners.

3) He requested that Councillors be assigned specific functions to act as a lias ion with
the various department heads. Council agreed to discuss this at a future meeting.

protection devices installed at the C.P.R. Crossing on the 7th Concession.

Office on January 17, 1989 regarding waste management.

denoting "Hillsdale" at the intersection of the Mt. St. Louis Road and Highway 12".

$26,793.00 being a renewal of Township Insurance for the period January 1, 1989 to January
