07 21 1989 Sp Council Minutes THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDONTE Minutes of a Special Meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held on Friday, July 21, 1989 at 1 :00 P.M. in Council Chambers, Moonstone. Present Reeve - I. Amos Councillors - J. Patterson - N. Calziel - C. Hall Absent Deputy Reeve - H. Vasey . Also present - P. Smith, Reid & Associates - A. McNair, Planning Consultant - B. Marshall, Planning Consultant - G. Ball, Road's Superintendent - J. Oakley, Chief Building Official . with Mr. B. Turnbull, Robin Crest Development. Council asked that Mr. Turnbull work towards keeping the residents happy. Council also requested Mr. Turnbull place the "A" gravel on the roads and put down dust control. Council agreed to accept a cash deposit to ensure the hardtopping was done next spring. CounciL,then reviewed the current proposals for development within the Township. ROBBINS - Pt. Lot 13, Con. 11 ~.Y.i:ie~ the developer that 1) All lots to be revised to comply with mmImum lot area of 2 acres, excluding lands below the top of the banks of watercourses. 2) A 5% parkland dedication of 4.2 acres of flat useable land, the area of lots 7 & 8 on the proposed plan 3) the road system be redesigned. Council suggests that Block A road be extended to intersect with the Mt. St. Louis Road in the area of lot lOon proposed plan. No access road to 12th Concession. Road B to be an extension of Road "A" ending in a Cul-de-Sac. Council will allow 2 or 3 lots to 12th Concession if they have proper site lines. 4) the study being done with the Health Unit be provided to Council 5) further hydrogeolic assessment to ensure rho interference with existing wells 6) the Old Coldwater Road be upgraded and paved frorn Mt. St. L')uis Road to Highwc.1Y 12. ~ ROWE- Pt. Lot 6, Con. 14 Clerk to adv ise the developer that 1) existing parkland not for sale at this time 2) Plan to be revised in area of lots 26, 27 & 28 to allow for a 66' road allowance to parkland ~ 3) Lots 2,3,4, 20 & 21 be redrawn to provide the necessary frontage as required by the Township Zoning By-Law 4) the proposed draft plan show the existing trees on property and the plan be redrawn to place lots lines in these areas 5) the developer provide a cash levy of $17,500.00 to cover engmeermg costs to cover engineering of new pumping station 6) the developer retain consultants to prepare a soils study and a drainage study July 21, 1989 Page two THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDONTE RICHARDSON PIT EXPANSION - Lots 6 & 7, Con. 3 _That the Clerk nQ1ify the developers consultants that prior to a public meeting Council with a meeting with the consultants, respresentatives for Seeley & Arnill, Ministry of Natural Resources, and the Township Consultants to review the proposal. Council asked McNair & MarshaL to prepare a proposal for the required study for their August 22, 1989 meeting.
