06 30 1982 Sp Council Minutes e _ _ e THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEOONTE Meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held on Wednesday, P.M. in Council Chambers, Moonstone. Present Reeve - I. Amos Deputy Reeve - 1. Johnstone Councillors - I. Beard J. Patterson H. Vasey C,qJmci 1 met with a delegation of Firemen who presented a letter to Council on the operation of the Fire Department. A general discussion regarding the Fire Department followed. Council directed the Clerk prepare a notice to be posted in the Halls explaining that the Fire Chief is in charge of the Department and that all problems should be directed to the Chief. If the problem cannot be resolved by the Chief it is then to be brought to Council. r:011nril mpj- with Mr. W. Lohuaru and discussed the Water Right Agreement and the maintenance of the water system in Horseshoe Valley. There was also a discussion regarding various accounts. Mr. Lohuaru stated he would investigate and report back to Council. The following resolution numbered 82-157 was passed: " That this Cmmcil write off an account from 1977 with Horseshoe Valley Ltd. in the amount of j\}666.75". BUSINESS 1) Council discussed the proposed office. It was decided that the same brick would be used on the inside wall as the outside. They also agreed to use regular mortar not co loured and they decided to have a raked joint. Council also agreed to place styro- foam around the outside wall around the back entrance. R~RO 111j- i on 82-1 58 was pas sed as -fio llows : " That this Council approves of an additional cost for the Municipal office in the amount of $2,420.00 for the installation of a 400 AMP service in lieu of a 200 AMP." 2) Resolution 82-159 was passed as follows: " That Council approves Mr. G. Sharman moving the old house fTom the Vandergeest property subject to a Health approval for a septic system, the house being placed on a proper and a building permit being issued". 1) RpRo111tion 82-100 was passed as " That Council grants Mrs. B. printing business on the permission to place a sign to advertise her poles which were previously used for a sign". 14) Council agreed to purchase new flower pots and flowers to replace the ones stolen from the Steele Memorial. AD.TOURNMENT Resolution 82-161 was passed as follows: " That this meeting be adjourned", Reeve
