08 22 1983 Sp Council Minutes Special Meeting August 22, 1983 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDONTE Minutes of a Special Meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held on Monday, August 22, 1983 at 7: 30 P.M. in Council Chambers, Moonstone. Present Reeve - Ingram Amos Deputy Reeve - Lytle Johnstone COtmcILllors - Jill Patterson - Ian Beard - Horace Vasey ~ PASSTNG OF ~Y-LAW$ ~ 1) Resolution 83-175 was passed as follows: " That a by-law to establish a schedule of fees and tarriffs under the Planning Act be considered read a first and second time, read a third time and passed this 22nd day of August, 1983 and numbered By-Law 83-16". 2) ResQ]\JtiQn 83-176 was passed as follows: " That a By-Law to appoint a Committee of Adjustment be considered read a first and second time, read a third time and passed this 22nd day of August 1983 and numbered By-Law 83-17". Rl JSlNESS 1) Reso111riOG ~3-177 was passed as follows: " That this Council approves a payment in the amount of $70.45 to the McBee Company, being federal tax Which the company did not include on their previous invoices". 2) Resolution 83-178 was passed as follows: "That this Council endorses the resolution of the Township of South-West Oxford with regard to Cabinet re-hearings under the Consolidated Hearings Act". ~ .c01mci 1 met with K. Hamilton, Township Fire Chief and discussed several matters. Rpso111tiQn 83-17~ was defeated as follows: " That this Council agrees to enter into a Fire Agreement with the Township of Orillia whereby the Township of Medonte would provide fire service to the Township of Orillia from lot 4 to lot 14, Concession 1 and in return the Township of Orillia would provide Fire Service in the Pritchard Subdivision, Price's Corners' I. ~ C01:1f\(,] 1 rlireC'red the Clerk contact the City of Barrie with regard to them providing a central answering system for fire calls.
