ADOPTION OF MINUTES - Resolution 84-187 passed adopting minutes July 10 & July 17, 1984.

v>)Un~il met with Mr. E. Robertson and discussed roads matters. He reported the crusher
w.)uld be in. Council agreed to have the breaker in to clean up the pit. Council agreed to
do some ditching along the Orr Lake side of the Whetham Sideroad. Council directed he clean
up the work in Horseshoe Valley and put screenings in the ditch. Council agreed to putting
screenings on the Hill on the 5th Concession before the Papal Visit.

Mr. Robertson of Warminster approached CoonciI and requestedthat Council clean the ditches
along Richelieu and Ch_amplain and along the sideropd across from the Firehall. He asked
that Council keep them clean and have someone cut the grass. Council agreed to clean
the ditch but advised Mr. Robertson that they would not hire someone to cut the grass in the
di tch.
..Mr:... D. A. Gennings approached Council to question the increase in taxation on his property
over the past years. Council answered his questions and a discussion ensued.
.Mr. I. Mason approahhed Council regarding some ditching. Council agreed to meet with Mr.
-Mason and study thiS- request.
BUSINESS
Rpsn!tltinn ~4-1~~ was passed as follows:
" That Council approves of Mr. T. Grignon placing three, 3 foot by 6 inches signs on the
Township Road allo'ABnce, at the M:C St. Louis Road and the 6th Concession, at the 6th
Concession and the Jlderoad and at We 6th Concession and County Road 22, subject to
the approval of the Road's SuperintendentH.

Resolution 84-189 was passed as follows:
" That Council hire Reid and Associates to update the Bridge Appraisals report done in 1977,
using the same terms of reference as used in 1977, and that Council also requests Reid
and Associates appraise the following cement culverts: Lot 1, Con. 8, Lot 17, Con. 4,
Lot 18 Con. 5, Lot 7 Con. 9" Lot 5, Con. 10, Lot 16 Con. 10, at a price not to exceed
$200.00 per structureH.
....Eesolution 84-190 was passed as follows:
" That the hourly rate of Wendy Hicks be increased to the part time office rate and she be
granted one day of sick leave for each 22 days worked now that she has completed her
probationary period".
. Resolution 84-191 was passed as follows:
" -II That Beatrice Woodrow be authorized to attend the Municipal finance Conference to
be held in London, Ontario from September 26 to 28".
..Resolution 84-192 was passed as follows:
" That the Township planner prepare the necessary By-Law to rezone a parcel of land,
W-I/2 lot 6, concession 14".

Council agreed to collect the fees for anyone purchasing a water metre from the Warminster
Water Committee.
