Minutes of a Regular Meeting of COuncil of the Township of Medonte held on Thursday, June 13,
1985 at 7:00 P.M. in Council Chambers, Moonstone, Onto

Special Meetings of Council held on May 22, May 28 and June 6 be adopted as circulated".

R f'soll.1tion 85-121 was passed as follows:
" That the quotation of Radio-Com Communications Ltd. for the supply and installation of a
two way radio system for the Public Works Department in tha amount of $8,650.00 be accepted
subject to the recommendmations and approval of the Ministry of Transportation and CommunicatiOl
Council agreed to purchase a new motor at an estimated cost of $13,000.00 for one of the graders.
rOl)ndl directed the CLerk contact the C. N. R. and ask them to lengthen the planks in the
crossing on the Town Line.
Mrs. K. KeJ iser approached Council regarding their offer to split the cost of building up their
entrance. She felt that the Township has built up the road and it is their responsibility.
Council felt that they had not built up the road and that the Kaiser's driveway had gone down
and they reaffirmed their offer to split the cost.
I\(tr N Mrs FM irhrRss Mild Mrs. Linda Campagnolo approached Council regarding the Flos-Medonte
Townline at the NOrth end of Orr Lake. Mr. Fairbrass explcHned that his cottage, which has been
in existence since 1947 is built out onto the Townline. He that he has had the Medonte
side of the road allowance leased for over 25 years and requested to purchase the road allowance.
Council advised him that his lease was expired and that they had a petition from residents who
wanted to use the allowance as on access to the lake. Council agreed to meet at the site on
June 19, 1985 at 8:00 P.M. and directed the Clerk advise the Township of Flos of the meeting.

Mr. O. Roe approached Council regarding the one foot reserve which blocks one of the entrances
to his property in Warminster. Council explained that they have dropped the one foot reserve
to allow access on the other side of the property and requested that Mr. Roe use that as his
entrance.
Mr. Roe also asked Council to repeal their By-Law which prohibits the removal of topsoil. He
explained that his business is removal of topsoil and his plans were to rernove some topsoil lOD.m
the property and plant Christmas trees. 'CouDQil . advised Mr. Roe they would take his request
into consideration. . .

J) Resolution 85-122 was passed as follows:
" That a By-Law to amend By-Law 82-11 be considered read a first and second time, read
a third time and passed this 13th day of June, 1985 and numbered By-Law 85-6".

2,) Resolution 85-125 was passed as follows:
" That Council approves of a payment of $825~05 to the Township of Flos, being 50% of
the cost of the work done at the Flos-Medonte Park at Orr Lake".
1) ResoLution 85-126. ~as passed as follows:
'" That Council approves of a donation in the amount of $1000.00 to the Central Ontario
Disaster Relief Fund".

41, Council decided they were not interested m selling a portion of road allowance to Mr.
. E. Woods in Hillsdale.
5), Council directed the Clerk notify Mr. Binns that everyone who has a dog must
pay a licence fee even if the dog does not run.
