09 10 1985 Council Minutes THE CORPORA nON OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDONTE Minutes of a Meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held on September 10, 1985 at 7:00 P.M. in Council Chambers, Moonstone, Ontario Present Reeve- I. Amos Deputy Reeve-L. Johnstone Councillors - J. Patterson - I. Beard - H. Vasey - Resolution 85-173. was passed as follows: " That the minutes of a Regular Meeting of Council held on August 13, 1985 be adopted". Council met with Mr. E. Robertson, Township Road's Superintendent and discussed roads matter Council approved of the purchase of an additional mobile radio for use by the superintendent. - Mrs~ Whalen and Mr~. Sedlbauer approached Council requesting something be done to alleviate the constant washout problems along the edge of the road in front of their properties. Council agreed to meet on site on September 16, 1985 at 9:00 A.M.. .P A SSTNG OF BY-LA WS_ ~J} ResoltltiQO 8 )-174. was passed as follows: " That a By-Law to implement development control provIsIOns be considered read a first and second time, read a third time and passed this 10th day of September and numbered By-Law 85-14". 2) R,e~Qlution 85-175 was passed as follows: " That a By-Law to prohibit and regulate noise within the Township of Medonte be considered read a first and second time, read a third time and passed this 10th day of September, 1985 and numbered By-Law 85-15". J) The Clerk presented a letter of resignation from Fire CHief K. G. Hamilton Resolution 85-176 was passed as follows: " That Council accepts: the resignation of Fire Chief K. G. Hamilton, effective September 30, 1985, with regret". - Resolution 85-177 was passed as follows: " That Council requests that the Deputy Fire Chief assume the position of acting Fire Chief effective October 1, 1985 until such time as a new Fire Chief is hired". Resolution 85-178 was passed as follows: " That Council directs the Clerk post a notice in the Township Fire Halls inviting applications for the Position of Fire Chief for the Township of Medonte; Applications to be received by October 18, 1985". ~ 2) Council discussec;LJhe release of holdback on the purchase ofthe Pumper-Tanker Fire Truck. Resolution 85-179 was passed as follows: " That Council approves of the release of $978.47 to Pierreville Fire Trucks Ltd. being the remainder of the holdback on the purchase of the Pumper Tank Truck; And that the funds be sent to the attention of Mr. A.
