Mi~nutes of a Regular Meeting of Council of the TOwnship of Medonte held on Tuesday, October
8, 1985 at 7:00 P.M. in Council Chambers, Moonstone, Ontario.

" That the minutes of a Regular Meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held on
September 10, 1985 and the minutes of Special Meetings of Council held on the 17th
and 30th of September be adopted as circulated".
COImr,il rnE:t with Mr. E. Robertson, Township Road1s Superintendent. He reported the crusher
was in and there was a discussion where to put the gravel.

U Mr. & Mrs. MkhC)eli~, Concession 11, approached Council regarding water on their property.
There as a discussion on how to get the water out of the hollow around their house. It
was suggested a 6" tile across their field may be the best method. No decision was made.

J) Resolution 85-193 was passed as follows:
" That a By-Law to appoint an Acting Fire Chief for the Township of Medonte be considered
read a first and second time, read a third time and passed this 8th day of October, 1985
and numbered By-Law 85-16".
;2) Resolution 85-1.2Y- was passed as follows:
" That a By-Law to repeal By-Law 85-2 be considered read a first and second time, read a
third time and passed this 8th day of October, and numbered By-Law 85-17".
Mrs. Claire Lott, part lot 75, con. 1, requesting additional severances was
presented. Council directed the Clerk advise Mrs. Lott that her request was contrary to
the Official Plan policy.

2) Resolution 85-195 was passed as follows:
" That Council approves of a cancellation of business public assessment in the amount of
$600., Roll 9-177-0003, Steven Saswirsky, from Oct. 1/85 to Dec. 31/85,3 months,
due to business ceased. Section 33 pending".
3) Resolution 85-196 was passed as follows:
" That Medonte Council approves of a cancellation of business public assessment in the
amount of $330., Roll 4-174-03-0001, tenants Richard Byrne and William Finlay, from
Aug. 1/85 to Dec. 31/85, 5 months, due to business ceased".

demolished in July. Refund $100.37".

That Council approves of purchasing a used cab complete with front wiper and heater
installed on the dump machine from Harvey Cassell Ltd. in the amount of $750.00".

" That Council approves of Arlene Prevett, Lot 12, Con. 10, living in a trailer on their
property over the winter and in the spring while they are constructing a home on the
property subject to the Health Unit approval".
