THE CORPORA nON OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDONTE
Minutes of a Special Meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held on
Friday, November 22, 1985 at I :30 P.M. in Council Chambers, Moonstone.

108 of the Municipal Act prohibited Council from making a decision regarding the
hir ing of a F ire Chief.

Council then discussed the roads budget. The Clerk advised Council where all the
various projects stood. Council made no decision regarding any special purchases
until after the December meeting.
Resolution 85-230. was passed as follows:
II That Council approves of Horseshoe Valley Resort providing snow removal and
sanding in the Subdivisions M-l0, M-l1, M-23 and 1531 for the winter of
1985-1986 at a rate of $39.00 per hour plus the cost of sand".
Council d~~id~d to have their inaugural meeting on Monday, December 9, 1985
at 11 :00 A.M.
"Counc;il then met with Mrs. B. Woodrow, Township Treasurer and discussed the
status of various tax registration files. There was also a discussion regarding
overdue dog licence fees.
..Resolution 8.5-231 was passed as follows:
" That Council approves of a cancellation of business public assessment in the
amount of $225., Roll 4-233-0001, Terrence Patterson, from Oct. 1 to Dec.
31/85, 3 months, due to business partially ceased by owner. Section 33
pending".
Re5.QlutiQn 85-232 was passed as follows:
II That Council directs the Treasurer put the overdue dog licence fees out
for collection".

Council approved .of the plans of the Warminster Water Committee to donate
water to the Royal Canadian Legion for an outdoor rink in Warminster as long
as there is no charge to anyone for using the rink.
