01 29 1986 Sp Council Minutes Special Meeting January 29, 1986 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDONTE Minutes of a Special Meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held on Wednesday, January 29, 1986 at 1 :30 P.M. in Council Chambers, Moonstone. Present Reeve - I. Amos Deputy Reeve - I. Beard Councillors - H. Vasey - J. Clarke - R. Beleskey - .~ CotJ.ill:il met to discuss wages for the year 1986. ~Resolution 86-28 was passed as follows: " That the Clerk, Deputy-Treasurer be given a salary increase to $31,000 per year plus meeting allowance for night meetings". - Resolution 8fL::2.9..was passed as follows: " That the Treasurer, Deputy-Clerk be given a salary Increase to $26,000. per year plus meeting allowance for night meetings". . Resolution 86- '30 was passed as follows: " That the Township grants 8% ( 4 weeks vacation to all employees after 25 years service". Resolution 86-31 was passed as follows: " That the Roads Superintendent's wages be increased to $9.75 per hour effective January 1, 1986". .Resolution 86-32was passed as follows: " That the Road's Foreman wages be increased to $8.90 per hour effective Jan. 1/86". ,Resolution 86-33 was passed as follows: " That the grader operators be increased to $8.90 per hour effective Jan. 1/86 and that the Truck Drivers be increased to $8.69 per hour effective Jan. 1/86". Resolution--.8.6:::3.4..was passed as follows: " That the receptionist wages be increased to $7.75 per hour effective Jan. 1/86". ~ Resolution 86-35 was passed as follows: " That the Reeve's remuneration be increased to $3500. per year, Council's remuneration be increased to $2500. per year and that the Reeve be paid $45.00 per Council meeting and Councillors be paid $40.00 per meeting". The Clerk presented a letter of resignation from Mr. J. Hulton the Building Inspector. Council deferred the matter until the February 11, 1986 regular meeting. Council decided that the rate for the Fire Chief, Deputy-Fire Chief, Waste Site Operator, Part Time Office Staff and Office Cleaning would remain unchanged for 1986. ~ ...Resolution86- '36 was passed as follows: " That this meeting be adjourned".
