04 25 1984 Sp Council Minutes . . . ~ Pg. 104 COUNCIL CHAMBERS - APRIL 25, 1984 SPECIAL MEETING - PROPOSED OFFICIAL PLAN AND ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENTS Council met a 7:00 p.m., notice requirements under Sections 17 and 34 of the Planning Act, 1983 having been met, for both public meetings scheduled. All members of Council present. The Reeve explained the purpose of the meeting as bein9 to inform the public of proposed Amendment No. 18 to the Official Plan and a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment to implement the same, affecting part of Lot 26, Concession 5, to permit re-establishment of a convenience retail outlet. Ron Watkin, Ainley & Associates Ltd., the Township1s Planni!ng Consultants, explained the purpose and effect of the proposed amendments. The development proponent, Mr. Russell Chew, appeared in support of the applications. No other persons were present either in support or in opposition to the amendments. It was announced that the earliest Council would consider either of the amendments for adoption or passage was May 22, 1984. There being no representation, the second segment of the meeting commenced at 7:15 p.m., being to inform the public of a proposed zoning amendment affecting part of Lot 24, Concession 7, to permit development of a 16 lot single family residential plan of subdivision. Mr. Watkin explained the purpose and effect of the proposed amendment. No persons were present either in support or in opposition to the amendment. It was announced that the earliest Council would consider the proposed amendment for passage was May 22, 1984.
