DISCLOSURE AND DECLARATION OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST: I Councillor David Burton declared a Conflict of Interest immediately I before the second deputation of the meeting with Mrs. Dianne Dubeau, lithe nature being financial. Councillor Burton left the room and Iidid not take part in any of the discussion. 12 DEPUTATIONS: (~) 7:40 p.m. I. II I , Constable Wayne Ross presented the Annual Report for the Community policing Project in Oro Township and explained what the different statistics represented. (b) 8:55 p.m. Mrs. Dianne Dubeau appeared before Council, concerning the Flea Market Licence Fees, under By-Law No. 89-61. She advised that she would be paying the licence fee in the immediate future. (This portion of the meeting was held In-Camera). (c) 9:17 p.m. Mr. Scott Elliott and Operations Manager Mr. Bill Blizzard for Sarjeant Company were present to review a draft agreement with regard to their Pit Licence. (This portion of the meeting was held In-Camera). II 113. OTHER BUSINESS: (a) The Deputy-Clerk was directed to obtain estimates for the cost of supplying all Members of Council and Department Heads with Name Plates which could be pinned. (b) Deputy-Reeve David Caldwell reported that discussion with the Federal Minister of Transportation were in a positive view and that he was expecting to receive a response in approximately thirty days. .t - 3 - MOTION NO.1 Moved by Burton, seconded by Crawford It is recommended that the Confidential Correspondence from Sergio Hristovski, be received, and futher, the Administrator/Clerk is hereby directed to invite Mr. Sergio Hristovski, Petre Hristovski and Boris Hristovski, to the Committee of the Whole Meeting to be held Monday, March 26, 1990, and further, the Administrator/Clerk requests that the Township Solicitor be present. The existing agreement on title is to remain with all parties signing it, and further, the conditions on the present deed are to be included in the new deed. MOTION NO. 29 Moved by Johnson, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that we suspend Section 21 (d) of the Township's Procedural By-Law No. 89-36 to allow the meeting to continue after the 11:00 p.m. adjournment hour. MOTION NO. 30 Moved by Johnson, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that the Fee Schedule presented by the Parks and Recreation Supervisor for the Arena Floor Fees and Banquet Room Fees, be referred to the next Committee Meeting. MOTION NO. 31 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Burton It is recommended that the bill for Furnace Repairs at the Arena in the amount of $319.95 from Compass Burner Service, be sent to Dawson Contracting for collection. If this bill has not been paid within thirty days, it is to be referred back to Council for further consideration. Carried. MOTION NO. 32 Moved by Burton, seconded by Crawford It is recommended that the Fees for the Ora Memorial Park for 1990, be as follows: pavillion #1 pavillion #2 $50.00 $25.00; Entrance Park Fee to remain the same as in 1989. Carried. MOTION NO. 33 Moved by Johnson, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that the 1990/91 Ice Rental Rates remain the same as the 1989/90 Season. Carried. MOTION NO. 34 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Burton It is recommended that the Parks and Recreation Supervisor, proceed with the installation of a wall to provide for a chair and table storage room at an approximate cost of $100.00, with the approval of the Chief Building Official and Fire Chief. MOTION NO. 36 Moved by Johnson, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that the Township Engineer review the Roof at the Oro Arena Community Centre, with regards to the apparent deterioration, and make recommendations on repairs and the approximate costs. MOTION NO. 37 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Burton It is recommended that the correspondence from Ms. Barbara Swanson, with regards to the use of the Oro Arena Community Sports Complex, be received, and further, the Administrator/Clerk respond to Ms. Swanson's correspondence, indicating the support of the Oro Community Centres Parks and Recreation Committee and Council Members confirmation of the Parks and Recreation Supervisor's actions concerning the above noted correspondence.
