Mr. Michael Shain, Township Solicitor, appeared before
the committee with regards to a request made by Council
to Mr. Douglas G. Bevan, with regards to Mr. Bevan's
trailer, located on Part of Lot 1, Plan 1230, Concession
12, Hawkestone, and further, it was the intention of
Council to review with the Township Solicitor and Mr.
Bevan, the status of this temporary trailer and the
legal implications involved with this situation. (This
portion of the meeting was held In-Camera).
Mr. Frank Tecklenburg and Mr. John Holland, along with
Township Solicitor, Michael Shain and Township Planner,
Beverly Nicolson, were present to discuss the implications
of By-Law No. 90-27, being a By-Law to Designate certain
Plans of Subdivision not to be registered plans, in
particular, Lots 13-31, Plan 712, and Lot 16-24 inclusive,
plus Blocks A & B on Registered Plan 819.
Mr. Michael W. Shain, Township Solicitor, appeared
before the committee to update Council on the status
of the legal proceedings concerning the Township of
Oro and B.A.F.M.A. (This portion of the meeting was
held In-Camera).
Mr. Henry Sander, Treasurer, Mr. Fred Haughton, Public
Services Administrator, and Mr. Keith Mathieson, appeared
before the committee to discuss the Public Services
Department's 1990 Budget. (This portion of the meeting
was held In-Camera).

It is recommended that the correspondence from the
Ministry of Tourism and Recreation, concerning the
Provincial Governments proposed exemption from property
assessment for Seasonal Camping Units, be referred
to the Township Solicitor for possible inclusion in
the Township of Oro's proposed Trailer By-Law.

Solicitor that the municipality is in agreement with
his proposal, concerning Mr. Row1inson's comments on
this particular By-Law.

It is recommended that the confidential correspondence
from Collections Canada, be received, and further, the
Administrator/Clerk is to advise this company that they
should pursue option number two, in order to collect
the outstanding debt owed to the municipality, and
further, the Administrator/Clerk be authorized to sign
the above noted correspondence indicating that option
two has been accepted by the municipality.

road in Phase III of this particular development and
whether or not this would have any affect in reducing
this particular Letter of Credit.

Annual Conference of the Association of Municipal Clerks

presently being used in Hawkestone at both docking facilities,
and further, the Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized
to make arrangements to have Mid-Ontario Disposal perform
regular pick-up at these sights.

at the second and ninth line Boat Launches:

and appropriate parking signs; and further, the Township
Insurance Company be contacted with regard to concerns they
may have on the launch facilities.

the Parks and Recreation Supervisor, be authorized to send
a strong letter to the Base Commander, indicating that this
team should compensate the Oro Township Community Arena
the cost of damage incurred, and further, that if this
damage is not reimbursed they not be allowed to use the
Arena until it is.
