DISCLOSURE AND DECLARATION OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST:
Reeve Robert E. Drury declared a Conflict of Interest with Item 6 (g
on the Agenda, being a report from Deputy-Clerk Beth Oosthuizen,
concerning quotations for the Spring News Letter; the nature of
his conflict is that his wifes company submitted a quotation to
be considered by Council.

to the Ministry to do a Ward Study within the
Township of Oro.

Building Official Ron Kolbe, with regards to
the Building Department Open House to be held
on Wednesday, May 2, 1990, be received, and
further, the Administrator/Clerk advise the
Chief Building Official that he may proceed
with this Open House.

be received, and further, Mr. Kolbe is to advise the

Solicitor, with regards to the Oro Fairgrounds,
be received, and further, the Administrator/Clerk,
is hereby directed to advise the solicitor that
the municipality will be conveying Part 2 only
to the Oro Agricultural Society. ----

It is recommended that the Report from Fire Chief
Paul Eenhoorn, concerning his Monthly Activity
Report for March 1990, be received, and further,
the Administrator/Clerk, write a letter of
appreciation to the Oro Township Firefighters
Association on behalf of Council, for their
contribution of $3,000. worth of cold water
ice rescue suits.

Correspondence from David S. White, Township
Solicitor reI Township of Oro and Hastings,
be received, and further, the Administrator/
Clerk is to advise Mr. White that the
Township has no plans to sell this property
at this time.

It is recommended that the correspondence from
Lorne Borgal, President and Chief Executive Officer,
of Horseshoe Resort Corporation, concerning a
Building Permit for an Elevated Water Tank, be
received, and further, the Administrator/Clerk,
is to advise Mr. Borgal that the municipality
expects Horseshoe Resort Corporation to comply
with all municipal regulations and By-Laws
including the appropriate payment of Building
Permit Fees.

the Animal Control/By-Law Enforcement Official.

Township of Oro hire Ms. Bonnie-Lyn Leeman, as
a Planning Student, at at rate of pay of $300.00
per week, commencing April 23, 1990, for a period

Ratepayers' Association request for an existing
Official Plan and copies of proposed amendments
be received, and further, the Administrator/Clerk
is hereby to advise Ms. Levison, that she will be
charged the normal costs for the existing Official
Plan and further, any proposed amendments would be
available when notice of the Public Meetings is
made under the regulations contained within the
