Mr. Fred Haughton, Public Services
Administrator spoke to the Committee with
regard to drainage problems (Alderdice/Arbour
and Chantler), budget restrictions regarding
brushing, the new work hours for the roads
crew, weed spraying contract, boat launch co-
ordination and the bottom of the 9th line
road area.
Mr. David Arnill, Mr. George Mugford and Mr.
David Hume of Seeley & Arnill addressed the
Committee with regard to the 7th Line
Agreement and the recent ontario Municipal
Board decision affecting their application
for licensing. This portion of the meeting
was held in camera.
Mr. R. B. Watkin, Ainley & Associates was
present to discuss the Official Plan
Amendment of Township Water Systems,
Appletree site Plan Agreement and Junie's
Fast Food Trailer and an extension to the
interim control by-law.
Pat Harwood, Parks & Recreation supervisor
was present to discuss the mileage budget for
parks and recreation, arena lighting and
damage to the craft hut.

Council directed the Deputy-Clerk to forward a copy of the
insurance policy to Mr. Leo Longo along with the
confidential letter from Frank Cowan Insurance.

It is recommended that the Report of Fred Haughton, Public
Services Administrator regarding Alderdice/Arbour/2nd Line
Drainage be received and subject to a written agreement from Mr.
Arbour that he will absolve the Township of any further works and
that he will maintain the works once completed as outlined on the
attached drawing.

It is recommended that the Parks and Recreation Supervisor and
the Treasurer prepare a report for Council regarding the
explanation behind the budgeted mileage amounts and entitlement
to mileage costs.

It is recommended that the public meeting for North Oro official
plan amendment and zoning by-law amendment be advertised for and
held on Monday, July 16, 1990,7:00 p.m.

It is recommended that the water system proposed official plan
amendment presented by Ron Watkin with amendments as suggested by
Ron Robinson, Township Engineer, be incorporated into the major
official plan review scheduled for July 26, 1990.

It is recommended that Council request through local M.P.P. Allan
McLean a meeting with the Minister of Natural Resources with
regard to the licensing of pits along the 7th line. That we ask
the Minister not to make any final decision on the Seeley-Arnill
licence until after this meeting takes place.

It is recommended that Fred Haughton, Public Services
Administrator contact Pat Harwood and Paul Eenhoorn to co-
ordinate boat docking installations at the 2nd and 9th line and
that another dock section be acquired.

It is recommended that the Simcoe County Health unit be asked to
attend a future Committee of the Whole meeting to explain the
requirement for raised septic beds.

It is recommended that the Public services Administrator and the
Parks and Recreation Supervisor confer on putting the boat launch
docks in as soon as possible.

It is recommended that we invite all pit operators operating on
the 7th line to a meeting with Council to be held at the
Committee of the Whole meeting June 25, 1990 at 7:00 p.m.

It is recommended that the recommendation of R. W. McArthur,
Senior Project Engineer for the City of Barrie in his report
concerning the Oro-Barrie-Orillia Airport Contract #1 - Clearing
and Grubbing- be received and adopted.

It is recommended that the correspondence from the Ministry of
Municipal Affairs regarding proposed Official Plan Amendment No.
45 be received and referred to Ron Watkin of Ainley & Associates
for a recommendation regarding the deletion of the subject lands
from the Official Plan Amendment No. 37.

that the Administrator/Clerk inform the Ministry of Environment

that the following names be used as street names in the said
