DEPUTATIONS:
7:00 p.m.
Note: The deputation to be held by the Simcoe
County Health unit Representative, Gerry Bruce
and Don Morrow was postponed until Monday, July
23 because of an unexpected illness on the part
of Mr. Gerry Bruce. The Deputation was on the
subject of raised septic beds.

7:40 p.m. Michael W. Shain, Township Solicitor was present
to discuss the Simpson court case. (This portion
of the meeting was held in camera.)
8:15 p.m. Ms. Marion Lucas, Mr. Walter Hutcheson and Mr.
Henry Neufeld representing the Oro History
Committee were present to discuss various items
of concern to the History committee.

It is recommended that the Report prepared by Deputy-Clerk, Beth
oosthuizen concerning the aerial photo be received and adopted.

It is recommended that the Report prepared by Beth Oosthuizen,
Deputy-Clerk with regards to the MBEEP program be received and
adopted.

It is recommended that the correspondence from Graham A. Knight
of the law firm of Burgar & Rowe concerning the Oro-Barrie-
Orillia Airport Commission be received and further the
Administrator/Clerk be authorized to sign the consent to use the
name Oro/Barrie/Orillia Airport.

It is recommended that the participants at the A.M.O. Conference
be authorized to register their companions in the Companion

the backyard waste management system be received and

Services Administrator concerning the Valadka correspondence be
received and adopted.

Public Services Administrator concerning Weed spraying of
Designated Lots be received and adopted.

MOTION NO. 10
Moved by Crawford, Seconded by Burton
It is recommended that we approve in principle the Preliminary
Engineering Report prepared by R. G. Robinson and Associates
Ltd., for the expansion of the Shanty Bay water system, dated
June 1990 and that the Township Engineer forward same to the
Ministry of the Environment for comment, and further that the
Report will be made available to any party upon receipt of
payment for the engineering costs of said Report.

It is recommended that the confidential memo from Jim Shellswell
concerning his appearance at the simpson court case be received
and further Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro
authorizes the Treasurer to pay Mr. Shellswell hourly and
mileage rates up to a maximum of $200.00 per day, plus $43.00
re: the March 29, 1990 invoices.

It is recommended that the Report prepared by Fred Haughton,
Public Services Administrator with regards to Road Grants be
received.

It is recommended that the correspondence from Mr. Martin
Kimble, General Manager of Operations, Horseshoe Valley Resort
concerning Oro Tippage Fee policy be received and further
referred to the Public Services Administrator for a report back
to Council.

It is recommended that we approve in principle the Preliminary

It is recommended that the memo from Ron Kolbe, Chief Building
Official with regards to smith Drafting be received and the
Chief Building Official and the Township's Planning Consultant
advise Mr. Smith of David White's discussion within that
correspondence.

It is recommended that the Treasurer be authorized to pay all
expenses incurred by Council and staff with regards to the
Meeting with the Minister of Transportation on July 4, 1990.

It is recommended that the correspondence from Jorden and Jones
concerning development application (P35/90 - Bayhaven
Developments), Part Lot 1, Concession 1, Part 2 & 3, Registered
Plan 51R-1124 be received and referred to the Township's
Planning Consultant for inclusion on a future planning advisory
committee agenda.

It is recommended that the Report from the Planning Department
concerning George and Linda Lusignan request to rezone certain
lands described as Lot 95 and 96, Plan 798, Concession 8 from
Seasonal Residential use to Permanent Residential use be
received and the recommendation of the Planning Department be
adopted.

It is recommended that the Administrator/Clerk put a notice in
the Barrie and orillia papers indicating that council will not
have any Committee or Council meetings other than those of an
emergency nature during the month of August and further he is to
put a notice in the paper indicating that the next regular
meeting of council will be held Tuesday, September 4, 1990.

It is recommended that the Administrator/Clerk, Robert W. Small
be allowed to carryover his remaining 1989 holidays to 1990
(18.5 days).
