Robinson, Mr. David White, Mr. Lees, Mr. Fred Haughton, Mr. Bill Fitzgerald, and Ms. Kathy Daulphen. Reeve Robert E. Drury chaired the meeting. Also Present Were: 1. DISCLOSURE AND DECLARATION OF CONFL¡CT .OF INTEREST: None declared. 2. DEPUTATIONS: a) 8:12 A.M. Mr. David White, Township Solicitor, Mr. R. G. Robinson and Mr. Al Lees of R. G. Robinson and Associates Limited, (Township Engineers) Mr. Fred Haughton, Public Services Administrator, Mr. Bill Fitzgerald and Ms. Kathy Daulphen of the Ministry of Natural Resources were present to discuss the proposed 7th Line Reconstruction as well as the proposed Agreement between the Township and the Gravel pit Operators. (This portion of the meeting was held In-Camera.) 3. FINANCE. ADMINISTRATION AND FIRE: The following correspondence and items for discussion were presented: a) Robert W. MOTION NO.3 Moved by Burton, seconded by Crawford I I . ¡ I I I It is recommended that the Confidential Correspondence from Horseshoe Resort Corporation concerning their Letter of Credit for Phase IV of the Horseshoe Highlands Development, be received, and further, their proposals on the Corporation of the Township of Oro's Letter of Credit policy contained in the Subdivision Agreement for Phase IV and the amendment suggested by the Horseshoe Resort Corporation, be referred to the Township's Solicitor and Township Engineer for comment and further, if the Engineer and solicitor are satisfied with the amendments as outlined in the Letter from the Horseshoe Resort Corporation, dated July 26, 1990, the Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized to convey the Corporation of the Township of Oro's concurrence with this proposal. ' - 3 - MOTION NO.4 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Burton It is recommended that the Confidential Correspondence from Morden and Helwig Limited Insurance Adjusters, concerning an accident on the Lakeshore Road between the sixth and Seventh Lines, be referred to the Corporation of the Township of Oro's Insurance Company for comment. MOTION NO.5 Moved by Johnson, seconded by Crawford It is recommended that the Confidential Memo from Robert W. Small, Administrator/Clerk with regards to the Deputy-Clerk's salary, be received and adopted. MOTION NO.6 Moved by Burton, seconded by Crawford It is recommended that the Confidential Correspondence from Michael W. Shain, Solicitor, concerning Oro and B.A.F.M.A. (Bill of Costs and Appointment for an Assessment of Costs) be received and referred to the Township's Solicitor, Leo F. Longo with the firm of Aird and Berlis. MOTION NO.7 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Burton It is recommended that the proposed Agreement between the Corporation of the Township of Oro and the pit Operators, with regards to the 7th Line Construction, be received, and further, it be referred to the Township Engineer, Township Solicitor and Public Services Administrator, in order that a revised Township Agreement can be prepared. MOTION NO.8 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Johnson It is recommended that the Confidential Correspondence from the Minister of the Ministry of Transportation, concerning the Ministry's financial commitment to the reconstruction of the 7th Concession, be received, and further, a copy be forwarded to each of the pit Operators on the 7th Line. carried. carried. Longo, with the firm of Aird and Ber1is, as well as tbe Chief Building Official, Mr. Ron Kolbe. MOTION NO. 10 Moved by Burton, seconded by Crawford It is recommended that the Correspondence from the Oro District Lions Club with regards to their request to set up a Beer Tent at the Barrie Automotive Flea Market on September 6, 7, 8, 9th and loth, be received, "and further, the Corporation of the Township of 'iOro through its Administrator/Clerk is to advise the Oro District Lions Club they will grant permission for this organization to operate these Beer Tents on the above noted dates. carried. MOTION NO. 11 Moved by Johnson, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that the Memo from Fred Haughton, Public Services Administrator, with regards to the Marchildon Correspondence concerning Concession l3, Lakeshore Road property, be received, and further, Council hereby authorizes the Administrator/Clerk to advise Mrs. Marchildon that she can proceed with the work proposed in her recent correspondence and further the Administrator/Clerk is to advise Mrs. Marchildon this in no way indicates future occupational rights ¡ over municipal property, and further, she must advise 'the municipality in writing, as to the extent, value and timing of the work she is proposing to do.
