DEPUTATIONS: a) The following Department Heads and Staff Members for the Corporation of the Township of Oro spoke to the students on the role of their respective departments within Oro's municipal structure: a) Fred Haughton; b) Paul Eenhoorn; c) Ron Kolbe; f) Kathy Hummell; spoke on Water, Roads and Landfill; spoke on Fire; spoke with regards to the Building Department; spoke on Parks and Recreation; spoke on Planning, Economic Development and the Clerk's Department spoke on Treasury and Tax Collection d) Pat Harwood; e) Robert W. Small; b) 2:55 p.m. Reeve Robert E. Drury made a presentation plaques with the Township of Oro's Mission statement to the following schools: a) Shanty Bay Public School; b) W.R. COMMUNICATIONS: a) Ministry of Municipal Affairs, re: Workshops on "Race and Multicultural Relations in our Community" NOTE: This Special Meeting was held as part of Local Government Week with Grades 7 and 8 students being invited from Township Schools. MOTION NO.1 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Johnson Be it resolved that the Memo from Ron Kolbe, Chief Building with regards to attending a Farm Buildings Seminar, be received, further, the Chief Building Official Ron Kolbe and Fire Chief Paul Eenhoorn be allowed to attend the Seminar in Elmvale on December 4, 1990.
