MOTION NO.1 Moved by Johnson, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that we suspend section 21 (d) of By-Law No. to allow for a Special Committee of the Whole Meeting to take place on Tuesday, December 11, 1990. Carried. MOTION NO.2 Moved by Burton, seconded by Crawford It is recommended that the correspondence from Consultants and Aviation Safety Training, with regards to Aircraft and Airport Familiarization Training and Emergency Planning proposed for the Township of Oro, be received, and further, the Fire Chief be authorized to apply for 45% of $13,666.00 for J.E.E.P. funding. Carried. MOTION NO.3 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Johnson It is recommended that Aircraft and Airport Familiarization Fee Schedule for emergency training, totalling $2,966.00 be forwarded the OrolBarrielOrillia Airport commission for approval. Carried. - 3 - MOTION NO.4 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Burton It is recommended that the Report from Robert James, Animal Control/By-Law Enforcement Officer, re: 1991 Dog Tags, be received and further, that the fees be increased by three dollars ($3.00) each dog, and further, if paid after April 1, 1990, the Fee shall $15.00 extra. Carried. MOTION NO.5 Moved by Johnson, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that the correspondence from the Township of King re: the Dog Licensing and Live stock and Poultry Protection Act, be received, and further, the Township of Oro endorse the Township of King's resolution. carried. MOTION NO.6 Moved by Burton, seconded by Crawford It is recommended that the Confidential Report from Robert W. Small AdministratorlClerk, re: Township Planner's position, be received and adopted. carried. MOTION NO.7 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Burton It is recommended that the correspondence from C.C. Tatham and Associates Limited Consulting Engineers re: South Central ontario study Water and Sewage services Review, be received and referred to the Technical Advisory Committee and further, that C.C. Tatham be invited to explain the study. carried. MOTION NO.8 Moved by Johnson, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that the Confidential Report from Fred Haughton, Public Services Administrator, re: Part Time Wing Person, be received and adopted. Carried. MOTION NO.9 Moved by Burton, seconded by Crawford It is recommended that the Report from the Planning Department re: Bill Scherbarth, Lot 30, Plan 875, Concession 9, be received and adopted. B. watkin of Ainley and Associates for a report back to Council by December 17, 1990. Carried. Tool and Die Limited, re: Industrial Property, be received and referred to the Township Planning Consultant Mr. R. B. Watkin for a report back to Council on December 17, 1990. Carried. MOTION NO. 12 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Johnson It is recommended that the correspondence from Gambin Associates re Alfa Aggregates Limited, an application for a zoning Amendment re: Part of the East Half of Lot 9, Concession 7, be received, and further, the Township has stated they are not prepared to support this application until a "M.T.O. Standards" constructed haul road agreement is prepared and signed to the satisfaction of the of Oro, among other concerns. carried. MOTION NO. 14 Moved by Johnson, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that the Confidential Correspondence from Horseshoe Resort corporation re: Letters of Credit for Phase IV(A) and their request for reduction in their Letters of Credit, be received and referred to the Township Engineer for a report back to Council, and further, the Council of the Corporation of the of Oro recommends that the following lots: No. 19, 105, 108, 15 144, be accepted as security in the amount of $371,000.00. Carried. Carried. - 5 - MOTION NO. 16 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Johnson It is recommended that the correspondence from the Ministry of Environment re: Oro sanitation services Limited, Sludge storage Transfer Facility, Part of Lot 17, Concession 7, be received, and further, the Administrator/Clerk is hereby directed to request the applicant to attend a future Committee of the Whole Meeting to address various Township concerns, and further, we invite Ian Gray to the same meeting.
