The Corporation of the Township Of Oro-Medonte By-Law No. 2024-005 A By-law to amend the zoning provisions which apply to lands at Concession 4 West Part Lot 28 (Oro) Township of Oro-Medonte 2022-ZBA-15(Van Muyen) Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte is empowered to pass By-laws to regulate the use of land pursuant to Sections 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13; And Whereas Council deems it appropriate to rezone the subject lands. Now Therefore the Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte hereby enacts as follows: 1. Schedule`A3' to Zoning By-law 97-95, as amended, is hereby further amended by changing the zone symbol applying to portions of the lands located in Concession 4 West Part Lot 28(Oro), Township of Oro-Medonte, from the Agricultural/Rural (A/RU)Zone to Agricultural/Rural Exception 352 Hold (A/RU*352(H))Zone, as shown on Schedule"A"attached and forming part of this By-law. 2. Section 7.0, Exceptions of By-law 97-95, as amended is hereby further amended by adding the following: 7.352*352 Concession 4 West Part Lot 28 (Oro), Township of Oro Medonte (Van Muyen) 7.352.1 Permitted Uses Notwithstanding Table A4—Agricultural/Rural Zone and Mineral Aggregate Resource Zones Permitted Uses and in addition to the permitted uses in the A/RU Zone, on the lands zoned A/RU*352 the following uses are permitted: a) glamping 7.352.2 Provisions Notwithstanding any other provision in this by-law to the contrary, the following provisions apply to the permitted use identified in Section 7.352.1: a) Maximum number of glamping sites 5 b) Each glamping site shall include: 1 furnished dome tent on a platform with a composting toilet. c) Maximum size of the glamping 36.0 square metres(387.5 square platform feet) d) Maximum number of washroom 1 trailers e) Maximum floor area for the 16.0 square metres(172.2 square washroom trailer feet) f) Minimum setback for the glamping 10.0 metres (32.8 feet) sites and washroom trailer from the edge of the woodland g) Minimum setback for the glamping 15.0 metres (49.2 feet) sites and washroom trailer from the drainage feature h) Minimum required parking spaces 1 parking space per glamping site for the glamping use i) Minimum width of the driveway 6.0 metres(19.7 feet) leading to the parking area k) The glamping use shall be secondary and incidental to the permitted single detached dwelling Page 6 of 9 5.a) 2024-005: A By-law to amend the zoning provisions which apply to la... on the same lot and operated by the residential property owner. 3. This By-law shall come into effect upon the date of passage hereof, subject to the provisions of the Planning Act, as amended. The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte By-Law No. 2024-030 Being a By-Law to Confirm the Proceedings of the Council Meeting held on Wednesday, March 6,2024 Whereas Section 5 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, C. 25, as amended provides that the powers of the Municipal Council shall be exercised by By-Law, unless the municipality is specifically authorized to do otherwise; And Whereas The Council of The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte deems it expedient that the proceedings at this Council Meeting be confirmed and adopted by By-Law; Now Therefore the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte hereby enacts as follows: 1. That the actions of the Council at its Council Meeting held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, and in respect to each Motion, Resolution and other actions passed and taken by the Council at its said Meeting is, except where prior approval of the Ontario Land Tribunal is required, hereby adopted, ratified and confirmed. 2. That the Mayor and the proper Officials of the Township are hereby authorized and directed to do all things necessary to give effect to the said action or to obtain approvals where required and to execute all documents as may be necessary on behalf of the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro- Medonte. 3. That the Mayor/Chair and Clerk/Designate are hereby authorized and directed to execute and affix the corporate seal to all necessary documents. 4. And That this by-law shall come into force and take effect on the final passing thereof. By-Law Read a First, Second and Third time, and Passed this 6th day of March, 2024.
