THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO
BY-LAW NO. 90-74
Being a By-Law to Appoint Members to
a Commission to Control and Manage
the Oro-Barrie-Orillia Airport
WHEREAS section 208(10) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, as
amended provides that Council may pass by-laws for entrusting the
control and management of any aerodrome established under this
section to a Commission;
AND WHEREAS Council for the Corporation of the Township of Oro
passed By-Law No. 90-64 on the 28th day of May, 1990, Being a By-
law to establish, operate, maintain and improve an aerodrome
under section 208(10) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, as
amended;
AND WHEREAS section 3 of the Agreement forming part of By-law No. i
90-64 provides for the membership, appointment, vacancy and re- I
appointment of Airport commission members;
NOW THEREFORE Council for the Corporation of the Township of Oro
hereby enacts as follows:
1. Definitions:
(a) "Airport commission" means the Airport Commission
for the Oro-Barrie-Orillia Airport as set out in By-Law
90-64 of the Corporation of the Township of Oro.
(b) "Agreement" means the Oro-Barrie-Orillia Airport
Joint Venture Agreement 1990 which forms part of By-Law
90-64 of the Corporation of the Township of Oro.

The appointments to the Airport Commission under this
by-law shall serve from the date of passing of the by-
law to the 30th day of November, 1991.
3.
Members appointed under this By-law shall use the
Agreement as their mandate and terms of reference for
the control and management of the Oro-Barrie-Orillia
Airport.
4.
The three members of the Airport Commission appointed
by the Corporation of the Township of Oro shall consist
of at least one elected official and at least one non-
elected citizen of the municipality.

The people appointed to the Airport Commission shall bel
those listed on Schedule "A", attached to and forming
part of this by-law.
6.
That the members of the Commission appointed by the
Corporation of the Township of Oro will serve at the
pleasure of Council.
7.
This by-law shall take effect upon passage thereof.
READ a first and second time this 18th day of June, 1990.
READ a third time and finally passed this 18th day of June, 1990.

Members of the Oro-Barrie-Orillia Airport commission appointed by
the Township of Oro are as follows:
1. Reeve Robert E. Drury
2. Deputy-Reeve David Caldwell
3. R. C. Beal
These members are to serve on the Airport commission as set out
Joint Venture Agreement for the oro-Barrie-orillia Airport and
pursuant to the provisions of this By-law.
