BY-LAK NO. 89-4
BEING A BY-LAW FOR THE CONTRACTING OF INSURANCE FOR THE
TOWNSHIP OF ORO AND ITS COUNCIL MEMBERS AND STAFF
WHEREAS By-laws may be passed by Council of Municipalities
pursuant to Section 208(3) and 248 of the Municipal Act,
Chapter 302, as amended, for the Contracting of Insurance
�€ for the Municipality, its-Council Members and Staff, and
for paying premium therefore;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to pass such a By-law;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Oro enacts as follows:

1. That a Contract for Insurance be entered into between
the Corporation of the Township of Oro and Frank
Cowan Company Limited.

2. That the said Contract expiry date shall be
December 31, 1989.
3. That the Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized

to arrange for the signing of the Insurance Policy.
4. That payment of the premium for the said policy
is hereby authorized.
5. That any other By-laws inconsistent with any provisions
of this By-law are hereby repealed.
6. That By-law No. 88-2 is hereby repealed.
By-law read a first and second time this 16 day of
January, 1989.
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 16 day of
January, 1989.
