1. Call to Order - Moment of Reflection:
Mayor H.S. Hughes assumed the Chair and called the meeting to order followed by a
moment of reflection.
2. Adoption of Agenda:
a) Motion to Adopt the Agenda.

Be it resolved that the agenda for the Special Council meeting of Thursday, October 12,
2017 be received and adopted.

Be it resolved that we do now go in Closed Session at 9:00 a.m. to discuss education or
training of members in accordance with Section 239 (3.1) of the Municipal Act, 2001, as
amended (Public Relations/Social Media).

Be it resolved that we do now Rise at 11:50 a.m. and Report on the Closed Session Item 4c)

Be it resolved that By -Law No. 2017-129: Being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the
Special Council meeting held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 be read a first, second and
third time, passed, be engrossed by the Interim Clerk, signed and sealed by the Mayor.
