1. Call to Order -Moment of Reflection:
Mayor H.S. Hughes assumed the Chair and called the meeting to order.
2. Adoption of Agenda:
a) Motion to Adopt the Agenda.

be received and adopted.

4. Reports of Municipal Officers:
a) Donna Hewitt, Director, Corporate & Strategic Initiatives; Catherine Oosterbaan, Ec.D.,
CEcD, Agriculture and Rural Economic Development Advisor, Ministry of Agriculture,
Food and Rural Affairs re: Economic Development Strategic Planning Session.
Correspondence was distributed to members of Council and staff.
A PowerPoint presentation was presented.

Be it resolved that the information presented by Catherine Oosterbaan, Ec.D., CEcD,
Agriculture and Rural Economic Development Advisor, Ministry of Agriculture, Food and

5. Confirmation By -Law:
a) By -Law No. 2017-017: Being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the Special
Council meeting held on Monday, February 6, 2017.

Be it resolved that By -Law No. 2017-017: Being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the
Special Council meeting held on Monday, February 6, 2017 be read a first, second and third
time, passed, be engrossed by the Deputy Clerk, signed and sealed by the Mayor.
