THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE
BY-LAW NO. 96-94
Being a By-Law to Authorize the Issuance of
a Certificate of Substantial Completion and Acceptance
Under Ground Works (Horseshoe Highlands - Phase IIB)
WHEREAS Council for the Corporation of the Township of Oro
entered into a Subdivision Agreement for Horseshoe Highlands -
Phase IIB;
AND WHEREAS Bill 51, An Act respecting the Restructuring of
the County of Simcoe was passed December 14, 1993 and
amalgamating that portion of land upon which Horseshoe
Highlands - Phase IIB is situate;
AND WHEREAS the requirements of this Subdivision Agreement
have now been met;
NOW THEREFORE the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte
hereby enacts as follows:
1. That the Certificate of Substantial Completion and
Acceptance for Horseshoe Highlands Phase IIB may now be
issued by the Township Engineer (R. G. Robinson &
Associates) in compliance with the Subdivision Agreement
between the Corporation of the Township of Oro and Salvil
Investments Ltd.
2. That this By-law shall come into force and take effect on
the final date of passing thereof.
READ a first and second time this 4th day of September, 1996.
READ a third time and finally passed this 4th day of
September, 1996.

Description of the Works:
. Storm drainage works, and watermain system for Phase lIB onHillside Court from VaIIeycrest Drive to
end of cul-de-sac.
We, R.G. Robinson and Associates (Barrie) Ltd., notify the Municipality that the above mentioned works
were inspected by us on July 4, 1996 and to the best of our knowledge and judgement, are complete in
accordance with the Subdivision Agreement except for the deficiencies below:
. Refer to Site Inspection Report of July 4, 1996, which outlines minor deficiencies.
We hereby accept these works for use and operation by the Municipality subject to the rectification of the
above noted deficiencies and to the rectification of any further deficiencies that may become apparent
during the maintenance period and to the maintenance that is required by the Subdivision Agreement.
The date of Substantial Completion and Acceptance for underground works is established by the Certificate
as July 4, 1996.
