BY -LAW NO. 2012 -073
A By -law to amend the zoning provisions
On lands described as follows:
Concession 10, West Part of Lot 23, RP 51 R- 29540, Parts 1 and 2,
865 Ridge Road East,
Township of Oro - Medonte, County of Simcoe
Roll # 4346- 010 - 010 -00101
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro - Medonte is
empowered to pass By -laws to regulate the use of land pursuant to Section 34 of the
Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13.
AND WHEREAS Council deems it appropriate to rezone the subject lands, in
accordance with Section C2 of the Official Plan;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro - Medonte
enacts as follows:
1. Schedule `A5' to Zoning By -law 97 -95, as amended, is hereby further amended by
changing the zone symbol applying to the lands being Concession 10, West Part of
Lot 23, RP 51 R- 29540, Parts 1 and 2, 865 Ridge Road East, in the former
geographic Township of Oro, now in the Township of Oro - Medonte, from the
Agricultural /Rural (A/RU) Zone to the Agricultural /Rural Exception 213 (A/RU *213)
Zone as shown on Schedule `A' attached hereto and forming part of this By -law.
2. Section 7 — Exceptions to Zoning By -law as amended is hereby further amended by
the addition of the following subsection:
"7.213 *213 — WEST PART OF LOT 23, CONCESSION 10, MUNICIPALLY KNOWN AS
865 RIDGE ROAD EAST (FORMER ORO)
"Notwithstanding Table A4 "Agricultural /Rural Zone and the Mineral
Aggregate Resources Zones — Permitted Uses ", a "Motor Vehicle Storage
Yard" is also permitted on lands denoted by the symbol *213, as shown on
the schedules to this By -law. In addition, no permanent buildings or
structures shall be located or installed within 15 metres of the limit of County
Road 20 right -of -way, unless an exception to this requirement has been
approved in writing by the County of Simcoe, in accordance with the County
Road Setback By -law."
3. This By -law shall come into effect upon the date of passage hereof, subject to the
provisions of the Planning Act, as amended.
