"DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST AND THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF — IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ACT" Councillor Crawford declared a conflict of interest on Item 13a), Committee of the Whole minutes, meeting held on February 7, 2007, Motion No. CW070207 -8, Dorothy Williams, c/o Oro Station Community Hall Board, re: correspondence dated January 30, 2007, 2007 Grant Request as he is a Trustee of the Oro Station Community Hall. Deputy Mayor Hough called the meeting to order at 7:07 p.m. and explained the public meeting is to obtain public comment with respect to a Proposed Zoning By -Law Amendment, 2006 - ZBA -14, Part of the West Half of Lot 8, Concession 3, 2072 Line 2 North, (Oro), Township of Oro- Medonte (L. & R. Parry). Notice of the Public Meeting was mailed to landowners within 120m (400 feet) of the specified site on January 23, 2007 and posted on a sign on the subject property on January 23, 2007, Page 3 Council Meeting Minutes— February 14, 2007 The following correspondence was received at the meeting: Simcoe County District School Board dated January 30, 2007. Bruce Hoppe, Director of Building and Planning Services, provided an overview of the purpose and effect of the proposed amendment. The following persons offered verbal comments with respect to the proposed amendment: Allan Storey; Ron Harper. The Deputy Mayor advised that written submissions will be received at the Township office until February 28, 2007 and that no additional deputations to Council will be permitted with respect to the proposed amendment. A digital recording of the meeting is available for review at the Township Administration Centre, 148 Line 7 South. Page 6 Council Meeting Minutes— February 14, 2007 11. MOTIONS FOR WHICH NOTICE HAS BEEN GIVEN: a) Councillor Coutanche, January 24, 2007 Council meeting. "Whereas one of the top priorities identified at the Special Meeting of Council on January 3, 2007, was to establish an Environmental Protection Advisory Committee - be it resolved that Council authorizes Councillors Agnew, Allison and Coutanche to investigate other successful municipal Environmental Protection Advisory Committees (or ad -hoc groups) and consult with O -M staff with respect to the mission, Terms Of Reference and composition for the proposed O -M Committee - and to report the recommendations to O -M Council and Staff." Motion No. C070214 -9 (Amendment) Moved by Crawford, Seconded by Hough Be it resolved that the Notice of Motion presented by Councillor Coutanche with respect to an Environmental Protection Advisory Committee be amended to strike the word "top" preceding the word "priorities ". Defeated. Motion No. C070214 -10 (Amendment) Moved by Allison, Seconded by Agnew Be it resolved that the Notice of Motion presented by Councillor Coutanche with respect to an Environmental Protection Advisory Committee be amended to add "or group" after "Environmental Protection Advisory Committee" in each instance. Motion No. C070214 -13 Moved by Agnew, Seconded by Evans Be it resolved that Lynda Aiken, Bruce Chappell, Michelle Lynch, Garry Potter and Rick Webster be appointed as the public members of the Committee of Adjustment effective February 19, 2007 to the end of the 2010 term of Council; And Further That the appropriate by -law be brought forward for Council's consideration. Motion No. C070214 -14 (Amendment) Moved by Hough, Seconded by Allison Be it resolved that the motion with respect to Report No. BP 2007 -003, Bruce Hoppe, Director of Building and Planning Services re: Cheryl Lewis — Request to Temporarily Reside in a Trailer at 188 Moon Point Drive be amended to change "six month period" to "twelve month period ". That the request of Cheryl Lewis to temporarily reside in a trailer for a twelve month period while her new dwelling is being constructed at Part of Lot 16, Concession 3 (Orillia), Township of Oro - Medonte, 188 Moon Point Drive be approved. 3.
